Wiki For Me, Wiki For You
So, the latest and greatest technological breakthrough is creating your own Wiki website. Something that you can call your own, something you can easily share with your friends, and something that is easy to use and put together. Oh, and did I forget to mention, it’s free.
That’s right, you can get your own free website, all ready to go with wiki-ness. It’s actually amazingly easy, and amazingly free! Now anyone can have a Wiki site all to themselves!
You can also add your own security to the wiki website, so that only people you allow can see the pictures or blog posts, or videos that you’ve posted to the site. With the security issues of today’s social networking sites, I think this is a huge benefit for everyone who can’t stand being on those social networks with all the spam and crap. Oh, and did I mention—it’s FREE!!

Sometime back they had similar free website for all with invitation only feature but it was discontinued abruptly and i hope this project from wiki does end up like that, but this looks promising considering it is free.

That website doesn’t look too great. I went there and just clicked on one of the “popular pages” or whatever and it looked to me just like a type of forum. Personally if I wanted to do this I would set up mediawiki on my own domain&server.

Thank you for the info. Its really good that i can build my wiki website for free without need of learning any compli language like PHP or others.
Its a bit greedy but can i use my adsense ads on the free site?

Nice.. i have always liked these kinds of sites.. lets you have your own personal space and change it the way you want it.. rather than those Social networking sites where there is a pre-formatted design

This ais a great news, I am a big fan of wiki sites you get a lot of information from them. They have been useful to me many times in that past and now I can get one for myself and that too free.
Can you please give more details about the signup process?

I have always used wiki each time I need help on my assignment. If I can build one myself looks like I don’t need to go and see wikipedia anymore =)

This really is a great site, i will join and make a page for myself and invite people to improve it. This is really a great idea, there is creativity when there are more people working on the same thing.
