Merchant 911 - True Industry Leadership
So often, people in the industry look to make that quick buck, everything from overcharging for PCI Compliance to gouging TMF merchants for international processing fees. The list goes on and on and yet it’s a good thing when we can see a true leader of the merchant community really try to give back to the industry.
In January, 2001, Merchant 911 was formed by Tom Mahoney as a non for profit project dedicated to educating merchants on preventing online fraud. The project is funded and supported by Mr. Mahoney himself and has received acclaim from the Wall Street Journal and many industry leaders.
Membership into the Merchant 911 program is free and as a member, you will receive real time alerts from the community of over 3,000 members regarding the latest fraud activities on the internet as well as the latest news and tips.
My hats off to Mr. Mahoney and those who continue to make Merchant 911 a great resource for the small and medium-sized online merchant.

That’s nice to know. I’ll tell my friend who is an online merchant about this. I’m sure he will benefit
